Assign a user to a group or role
Manage users and groups from the dashboard page to assign users to groups and roles in order and create a hierarchy of rights and privileges.

In the main toolbar, select
Open dashboard page and then select Manage users and groups.

On the dashboard page, either:
- Under Users, drag a user onto a group under Groups or onto a role under Roles. You can also drag a group or role onto a user. Hold down Shift or Ctrl to select and drag consecutive or multiple selections.
- Select one or more users, select Assign to groups or roles, select the groups and roles, and then select Apply.
Tip:appears next to a group or role that is already assigned to a user. You can assign the user to a group or role from Project view by dragging the user to the group or role in Project view.
