Restore a project

If a project is corrupted or unwanted changes are saved, you can restore an earlier version of the project.

Ensure that the project is closed in the FactoryTalk Optix Studio.

1. From the %localappdata%\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Studio\Backups\[Project Name] folder, copy the entire folder of the desired backup.
2. Replace the current project folder with the backup folder.
3. Open the project and verify that it is restored successfully.
