Rename a group

Rename a group to change the name of the group to which users are assigned. You can rename one group at a time.

Rename a group from either the dashboard page or Project view.

  1. Either:
    • Select Open dashboard page and then select Manage user and groups.
    • In Project view, expand Security and Groups.
  2. Under Groups, right-click the group to rename.
  3. Select Rename and type a new name for the group.
    Tip: To rename a group from Project view, right-click the group, select Rename, and then enter the new name.
The group is renamed on the dashboard page and in Project view.
