Configure a local library
Configure a custom local library to store templates of objects and variables.
Tip: To use a custom local library on another computer, copy the folder with the library name from C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Rockwell Automation\FactoryTalk Optix\Libraries to the same location on another computer. Alternatively, you can use remote libraries. See Configure a remote library.

From the main toolbar, select
Template Libraries.

In Template Libraries, select
and select New library.

(optional) Enter a name for the library.
Tip: In order to use version control, FactoryTalk Optix library names and repository names must match. The library and repository names must contain only alpha numeric characters, numerals, periods, dashes, and underscores.
New library appears in Template Libraries.
