Create a button that closes the application

Create a button that closes the FactoryTalk Optix Application application.

1. In Project view pane, right-click MainWindow (type) and select New > Base controls > Button.
2. Hover-over the button, select , and enter CloseApplicationButton.
3. In Properties, set Text to Close application.
4. In Events, next to MouseClick event, select and select Commands > Core commands > Close.
