Create alarm triggers

Create switches that trigger different kinds of alarms on demand.

  1. Create a switch that triggers warning alarms:
    1. In Project view, right-click MainWindow (type) and select New > Base controls > Switch.
    2. Hover-over the switch, select Edit, and enter TriggerWarning.
    3. In Properties, create a dynamic link between Active and ProjectName > Model > WarningAlarmVariable.

  2. Create a warning trigger label:
    1. In Project view, right-click MainWindow (type) and select New > Base controls > Label.
    2. Hover-over the label, select Edit, and enter TriggerWarningLabel.
    3. In Properties, set Text to Trigger a warning alarm.
  3. Create a switch that triggers error alarms:
    1. In Project view, right-click MainWindow (type) and select New > Base controls > Switch.
    2. Hover-over the switch, select Edit, and enter TriggerError.
    3. In Properties, create a dynamic link between the Active property and ProjectName > Model > ErrorAlarmVariable.

  4. Create an error trigger label:
    1. In Project view, right-click MainWindow (type) and select New > Base controls > Label.
    2. Hover-over the label, select Edit, and enter TriggerErrorLabel.
    3. In Properties pane, set Text to Trigger an error alarm.
